i set up a 100gl aux tank on my civy Z71 diesel.. i got a fuel slector valve "kit" from O'reilly auto parts, it came with the valve, wiring for the switch and the switch.. i think it was around $60 for the kit... oh, and its rated for 60psi (fuel pressure) so you can run a lift pump in line..
i am looking for a spring seat, and the passenger bench seat for my M35.. also maybe a turbo "kit" for the multifuel (i have a non-turbo slug..) let me know, thanks- Josh
i will have to let you know closer to time, my girlfriend wants to come and bring one of the CUCV's if she comes then i won't be coming till saturday afternoon..
i did not notice any power difference when i put in the injectors, i put them in a month before i blew the heads, but they did make it run better, and better MPG.. from my research it seems the to get power from the bigger injectors, you have to "chip" the computer... thats next on the list...
bobbed is the key word there, the reason you cant run 14.00R20 on a STOCK deuce is because the tires on the rear tandem's will rub each other.. if you can even mount them on the truck because they hit each other... now that being said, you can spread the tandem's and lift the truck, but that is...
thanks for the heads up, but I have put close to 5K miles on it with no injector problems as of yet... i replaced the injectors when i did the heads, with 40hp marine injectors..
i have put 6.2 heads on a 6.5.. and i just had to rebend the fuel lines.. and the 6.2 heads give my 6.5 MUCH more power... for what ever thats worth...
I work for a airline (free Jet-A) and ran jet-A in my 95 Z71 diesel 6.5 for months, and it LOVED it, but i blew the heads (too much boost) and i replaced them with 6.2 heads, and now it runs like S*** on jet-A so a stock 6.5 should have no problem with it, just ALWAYS add lube.. i put lucas in...
I am looking into buying a NAVY H.S.B. (high speed boat) and was just surprised there wasn't a watercraft section.. I mean there's a airplane and helicopter section lol
I hate seatbelts, and have removed them from my deuce, and wont use them in anything else (except for something with no doors) I dont like the fact the the goverment tells me what I can/can't do for my PERSONAL safety, I can understand making laws concerning what I do if it could hurt someone...
the millitary only rated it for a M416, but i pull a m101a1 and A2 with it all the time.... i prefer the M101A2 because it has surge brakes and stops much eaiser.. as far as what to pay? i've given no more then $350.. but that was from gl and 2 years ago.. 2cents
i just delt with this same thing in indiana, i went to the BMV and very calmly(i tend to get PO'd just walking into a BMV...lol) explaned what happened, and that there was NEVER a title to the truck, and asked how to go about getting one.. they handed me a stack of paperwork that me(buyer) and...
be careful with the combo pintle/ball hitches.. we put one on the M1031 and went to hook up the m101A2 trailer and it wouldnt fit over the ball.. the hitch one the trailer(it has a name, but i cant think of it) was to thick, and would not fit through the space between the ball and the "back" of...
