I'd say you'd be doing good if you can get it shipped for $1,500. You're likely to spend about half that in fuel if you drive it home. That's not counting any problems you encounter.
At the very least you need to have somebody inspect the truck that knows what they are doing before you even...
That's what I'm thinking. Some dry graphite type lube may work better.
I think whatever you use is going to make a mess. I know if I put grease on mine, every time I walk by the trailer I'd bump into the lunette and get grease all over me.
I bought a truck for my Brother one time. It turned into a paperwork mess and cost a bunch more money passing it through me because everything had to go in my name and then transferred to him.
I told him the next time to get his own account.
Ron is right. Out of the goodness of their heart the offered his money back. They didn't have to. Per GL's terms and conditions all they had to do is point to the junker and say "there's the truck you bought, good luck".
If you read the terms and conditions GL isn't responsible for anything and...
I wonder when they are going to auction off that fighter jet on the main page? A little misleading if you ask me.
It also says if you bid you take part in "one of the largest green initiatives is US history".:???:
I guess when "going green" is the latest fad everybody has to jump in.
I wondered about that. I've never seen a metric drive ratchet. What about building material and iron pipe? I've never heard of metric lumber or metric water pipe.
It's funny that tires have mostly gone to metric measurements except the wheel dia.
There are other options. A trans swap to a 9 or 10 speed fuller with the stock engine would help a bunch. With less jump between gears you can utilize the 250 power much better.
There are some clearance issues with a turbo engine in a M818. They can be overcome but it's something you have to...
I guess here we go with the metric/SAE debate.
Personally, I prefer SAE just because that's what I'm used to. If somebody ask me how long 4" is, I can hold my fingers apart to within about 1/4" of 4". If somebody ask me how long 4cm is, I'd have no idea.
Also, I take a little pride in the...
The way you have your 2 battery setup drawn will work. You'll have some spare links you don't need anymore. Hold on to them to use in the future if needed.
You also need to make sure you hook your small 12v wire right when going to two batteries. It should be hooked up to the positive side of...
My wife has one of those new smart phones. I've tried to surf the net with it but don't care for it. The screen is way to small and typing a message isn't the easiest (that's why I don't text either). I'm not saying I'd never own one but don't think it would ever replace my laptop. It does have...
Are they really that much better than the 250? I know the hp is around the same but the 8.3 does have a little more torque but I wonder if it's that noticeable (especially when you factor in the larger tires)?
I've never driven a A2.
Just for clarification, it's actually the M939 series. ;)
I always just run two in 5-tons if I have to replace the batteries. It doesn't get super cold here though and I usually don't run them when it's really cold out. 4 is better but that's a bunch of extra money to shell out when 2 will do.
I just picked up a M932 out of Redstone. Funny thing is, it came from Camp Shelby and I got it for Camp Shelby prices. That's ok with me because the US government shipped it a lot closer to the house for free. Well not really free, we all paid for it in around about way. I appreciate y'all...
It is better to charge each 12v battery separately than it is to charge both on 24v. More times than not, when you need a charge one battery is weaker than the other. When you use a 24v charger you will never fully charge the weak battery and you will overcharge the stronger battery.
A 24v...
Best thing to do is fill out the IRP application and send it in. They will inform you if you have all that is required or not.
I do know they (TN) wouldn't issue me apportioned tags without fist having a IFTA sticker. IFTA really doesn't cost anything, it's just more paperwork to deal with. It...
