i tried to start my uncles cucv today. with 2 new 1000cca batteries and a new gear reduction starter. it would not start. it was 75 outside today.
cranked over real good. i am i wrong? its warm so i thought it would start. i have new glow plugs just didnt get that far yet.
thanks
i would have used the website. mine are from him on ebay. got here real fast. only thing different about these plugs is where you slide the wire on is a bit bigger, no big deal.
on my fathers m1031 there was a few drips under the break pedal when i jumped in to move it. where the rod goes in is wet.
so do i need a hydroboost? i think its called. can it be rebuilt?
this will cause the breaks to fail??
thanks

i have 2 4911 pumps for this and a complete banks turbo. complete 6.5 turbo set up and a serpentine set up.
so far im being told this cant be done. i cant see why not. i have a few 6.2s for these trucks. i got a new government rebuild kit for the 6.2 for 400.
i would like all and any ideas, i need to look into this before i do it. im selling off and cleaning up so i have the money, and about to...
truck is now 12v for the glow plugs. have new glow plugs in the mail.
problem is 2 full charged batteries. will not crank. post are good and clean. turn the key starter just clicks. when it was all stock still. i would hook up the jump cables and it would crank no problem.
