Sounds like you have a good plan on fuel system but don't stop yet.drop tank replace filter sock,verify fuel press at filter,maybe replace lift pump.I gurantee if you get it running right you will love the truck.I went spin on fuel filt. and electric pump,helped a lot.

Not to bad for how much it improved shifting,used vac.pump 35$,vac.regulating valve45$,vac. lines and modulator had laying around. And Im not ready to talk about starter yet,I need a beer or two before I address that 3.5 hr. battle I just lost.
