Changed oil and filter today,used Napa 1794 filter and Rotella T6 ,seems quieter and runs smoother,oil pressure warm at idle did drop down to 30lbs. from 50 lbs.Previously ran Rotella 15w-40.Down the road hot oil pressure same,around 60lbs.Didnt get as much done as I wanted,Military son and kids...

Same thing happened to me,Its called runaway starter.I replaced fusible links and thought since starter was new it should be okay,After replacing fusible links and re-installing starter I turned key and roasted my interior wiring harness..Do the doghead mod and have starter checked before re using!

I love my 6.2 and plan on having more in the future.Easy to work on, no computer and in-expensive.Would love to drop one into something lighter and more streamlined and get 30-35 mpg! My bad,I forgot the gps were getting 24volts.I did the resistor bypass,new solenoid and new 60gs recently,starts great now.But only been down to 30 so far this year.

with my 1009 I have to pull up on handle then hit upper tailgate on outside for it to release,of course a neighbor backed into my open tailgate so Im sure its out of alignment.
