    Aftermarket shifter boots

Well Jatonka, i guess I was ignunt about you supplying them, or I would have done so 8-) Probably would have saved me a badly sliced thumb in the process. Haven't seen that much of my own blood in a while. That's what I get for using aftermarket. Please post a couple pictures, i'd like to see...

WarBird Cockpit Light In Deuce, Very Handy!

I'd posted some pice of these gooseneck lights, prompted me to go ahead and install them. The nice thing is the goosenecks, you can aim them wherever you want. They also have built in dimmers. Haney might still have a few. Better images are here: http://www.bunkerofdoom.com/mil/lamp/index.html

    Parking Lights

Thanks Ron, I see they come on, and the headlights are off. silly. I might take my own diode advice. Easier than running a long wire for me since I can solder more easily than I can get under the truck these days.

AN/VIC-4, and adding switched 12V/24V to the M35

Thanks! - I have to clean that mess up before I go on the trip. Also install those gooseneck lights in the cab, and a CB in the shelter to hook into the intercom. I hope I can get that all done this weekend. I replaced the power cables on the lights, but mounting them seems to be troublesome...

    Pyrometers, options, mounts...

Maybe we can rename the thread to trailers and turbos! That is a nioce looking panel. On the trailer,I like the size of it. have no place to park one that big. The M105 and other heavy duty trailers actual square feet available is disappointing considering how well they are made.

RE: trailer post-turbo install pics: http://www.bunkerofdoom.com/mil/m35/pyro/index.html I don't claim it's pretty, only that it works.

AN/VIC-4, and adding switched 12V/24V to the M35

updated to show the inside of the shelter where the VIC-4 amplifier is now mounted and connected to the radios as well as how the switched power was connected inside along with some circuit breakers. http://www.bunkerofdoom.com/mil/m35/vic4/index.html go to page 3 for the latest.

Yes it is the upper bulb to be made to be the running/parking light. That clarified, mine never come on. Please tell me about the 'park' position?

    Battery Woes

RE: Re: RE: Battery Woes When putting 'little' car batteries in, an easy way to keep them from sliding around is to cut some PVC pipe and lay it in the bottom of the box. The batteries tend to slide from side to side, and the pipe will reduce that. It's better than wood since it won't absorb...

    Parking Lights

RE: Front parking lights This circuit will let you use Y adapters and correct connectors and a little soldering to accomplish it. I don't know the wire numbers, but should be simple to figure out with the M35 diagram and looking at the lamps.

    Pyrometers, options, mounts...

This morning I mounted a pyro 2" downstream of the turbo outlet. Is there a big difference between 6" and 2"? It was a bear removing the clamps and that short pipe, they have not been off since 1991. Got the nipple or whatever it's called TIG welded on, and put it back together. I pushed the...

    different door hinges?

Speaking of hinges, I have one that is bad. It's the lower one. OK, so it's bad because somehow the pin has sheared completely. OK, so I read the book, and I should just knock the pin out of the top hinge, pull the door, and then I can work on things. Not so fast, the pin in the top hinge is so...
