    Help/Problem with fuel delivery adjustment

I see, so facing the nuts, turn the jam nut counterclockwise to loosen it, then while making sure the screw does not turn, turn the adjusting nut clockwise. Then re-tighten the jam nut. Ok. Thanks for helping me to understand.

    Help/Problem with fuel delivery adjustment

From this, then, to be clear, the stop plate adjusting nut is to be turned counterclockwise to increase fuel flow, and this also moves the delivery adjustment screw in, having the same effect as though the screw had been turned clockwise, yes? This would at first glance imply reverse threads on...

    XM211 Rear Axle help needed

I'd be afraid of rusty bearings/gears, but maybe operating it unloaded (on jack stands) with some gear oil will clean it up, worked for a ford rear end and i never had any trouble, but that's not the same at all! Taking it apart is the right thing to do, but what a job!

Lock it up! security with a deadbolt

RE: dead bolt The compartment is supposed to take a padlock through the holes, isn't it? I never tried it but now I am not sure how it would fit! Maybe a deadbolt could be put on where the handle is, but the bolt would stick out the back of the compartment. What I would really suggest for the...

Lock it up! security with a deadbolt

I installed a deadbolt lock in the driver's door of an M35. It's not the prettiest job, but it works fine. Maybe someone with better tools and knowledge can do better. It would be cool if there were a kit. I know there's a mod that uses a 'screen door/RV' handle, but I didn't think that is as...

Brake fluid -how to tell which kind you have DOT 3 or DOT 5

The important part first, the story is after. DOT 3, 4, and 5.1 can be mixed if necessary, according to the instructions on the cans. The temperature range is higher as it progresses from DOT 3 to 4 to 5.1 DOT 5 and DOT 5.1 are not the same. DOT 5 is a silicone based fluid, and DOT 3, 4, and...

Air Horn Solenoid - I need an exploded view or TM ref

It should have a spring to hold the slug out of the magnet coil. 24V to it pulls the magnet into the coil, opening the valve. Spring broken? If by some wierd design it is held 'off' by the compressed air, then the coil could be open or burnt out? What is the DC resistance of the coil? These...
