True but do you really want to burn all that valuble fuel just so you can have lights? What if you need to make a run in the deuce but you've used all your fuel in the generator? I look at ways I can get by without electricty when the SHTF. Personally, I think it's a waste of resources to try...
Hyd is much, much more user friendly over a PTO. You can make them pull more by raising the psi on the pump but just like the PTO winches, you go too much and you'll break things.
Everybody thinks mine is a M37. I've had no telling how many tell me where there's a truck sitting just like mine. I'll go and look at it and it's a M37. I can't understand this because a M715 and M37 look nothing alike.
I'm saying it's some sort of sealer. Most thread sealers are supposed to remain soft but if left on for a long time it will get hard.
I think the actual size is 9/16". Most of the time a 1/2" ratchet or breaker bar will work but be sure not to strip out the hole or it will be even harder to...
Are you saying you oiled down you wife's car and your girlfriend's car at the same time? If that's the case you've got bigger problems than a little spilled oil. rofl
Honestly, If you can't afford a tow when needed you may not be able to afford the truck. I've seen it happen several times. People buy a truck from GL or whatever, they have problems (more often than not safety related), then press on anyway because they spent all their money on the MV and don't...
I've never understood the problems people have with neighbors. Driving MVs and the like are more the rule than the exception around here. I'm sure there are some environmental extremist around here but they know to stay in the closet. People around here are pretty tight nit and don't take well...
The LDT and LDS have a problem with high RPMs. They are fairly reliable if you treat them right but you go to pushing her too hard and you could end up with a ventilated block.
It's kind of funny though. Some people will "baby" their engines and still throw a rod. So people will dog the heck...
To my knowledge, I've never deleted a thread so that won't matter to me.
I have posted info before and found out latter the info was wrong and gone back and edited the post.
I guess I didn't realize that people were manipulating their post to try and mislead people. I have saw people get mad...
The only thing the odometer is good for is to tell you when you need to change the oil. Never buy a truck based on the fact that it shows low miles or hours.
I picked up a truck from Redstone awhile back showing 5,000 miles and 200hrs. After inspecting the truck I believe these figures to be...
Here's a PDF of Chelsea PTO gears. Go to page 7 for a list of transmissions.

I will add that I talked to Chelsea several years ago and the gear to fit the 3053/3052 was obsolete.
I don't know how easy it is to get because I haven't tried. I have heard other members say they got some contaminated jet fuel for their deuce. I'd say you'd either have to work at the airport or have some sort of contact at the airport to pull it off.
I do have several contacts at the small...
That's good to know. The last PTO I rebuilt had one of the cups missing so I robbed one from another PTO I had. That still makes me one short so when I rebuild another one I'll just save one of the old seals.
I seem to recall airports are a source for fuel. The way I understand it, if they drain the fuel out of a airplane it is considered contaminated and can't be reused. A deuce will run fine on jet fuel.
