That is what I like to see.. Lockers..... You know what really grinds my Gears? People bobing, deuces, 5 tons, using military axles on trucks with HUGE tires and no lockers. You might as well drive your mama's Honda Civic in the mud pit if, and you look like a huge TOOL! You one wheel wounder...
I ran my M813A1 from Wisconsin to Haspin IN and that was a bitch. It will pull 50 - 55 all day and I could not even tell I was towing 5K camper. But its a hard ride, the gears SUCK. The 3-4 shift is HUGE!! The money you will spend to get a 813, fix it up you could have got a sweet older OTR...
the only thing that will cause that other then valves open is the timing is way ! off. IE Very very low compression. If it were Injection pump timing it still would get a couple pops off starting fluid. It would have to be cam to crank timing.
um.... to let you know that was not the cause of your fuel addition. The FDC is leaking or the flam heater valve. The injectors open with the help of 2500 PSI of fuel. The only way you got that high of PSI with a gravity feed is if that tank was on the moon.
Looks GREAT! I would put a little something over the gas tank.... that metal is thin and could be pierced ez. Maybe just a tin shield or something. Just my 1.5 cents. but looks good. I like it.
I dont know about you stumps but if there is dirt around the cans I wash them off first. I dont change oil in dirt. And if there was dirt there and you installed the filters you still get dirt in the engine. If you have noting to say dont make stuff up just to disagree.
man its not worth the problems that might pop up..... put just enough oil to hit the dip stick, DO NOT Install the filters, just put the cans on, Start her up let her run for just a couple and shut her down. Drain the oil, install new filters, fill her with the correct amount of oil and go.
how did you brake off a starter bolt? what sending unit are you referring to? The pick up in the tank? That could be but I have never seen one get 100% clogged up. That screen in there can filter golf balls and nothing smaller. If you replaced the fuel pump on the side of the engine and you are...
you replace the t stat with a 195? that is about the only thing that will cause no heat. Other thing to check is to make sure the fan clutch is not frozen on... it should free spin while the engine is NOT running.
dudes its only 20 foot long.. my car trailer is as long. Now.. having said that... that trailer must be duals for sure. If loaded the 10 bolt will brake (axle tube) Remember the axles are only 1/2 ton.
well we never used tow bars for fast Recovery, just straps. But I guess it could be used for both. ( That is just the new lighter weight tow bar for the POS)
