CUCV Injectors vs Marine injs, removal + cleaning proceedur

yes the pumps are spec'd for a certain pop pressure, this can be adjusted slightly to change the spray pattern. you cant run turbo injector pop pressures in a NA motor for instance, but you can bump the pressure up a tad for better spray patterns.

I found a half a Banks Turbo kit for my 6.2!

RE: Re: RE: I found a half a Banks Turbo kit for my 6.2! I love them, been on the truck for over a year, no issues, you just have to re torque them after the first 100,500,1000 miles. then they are fine. I'll send a PM on the airbox. and re the oil cooler lines, its best shown with a picture...

true, you can also have a axle shaft in the rear machined to accept a locking hub, then you can have the best of both worlds.

I found a half a Banks Turbo kit for my 6.2!

forgot to add, to install the banks kit, you WILL have to install a aux oil cooler, the lines are directly in the way of the inlet, I have the banks air box( didn't use it for my install) that i would let go. does the kit have the banks passenger side manifold? crossover pipe? downpipe?

I found a half a Banks Turbo kit for my 6.2!

well, the banks kit enters the engine on the same side of the engine as the 6.5 does, so you can get a intake hat from a 6.5TD, then just make up 2" tubing to connect the turbo to the intake, I have a ton off pics of the parts, and of my install on my photobucket album. its in my signature.

    Intermittent Steering problems

when it does this, do you hear a whining noise? check the level and color of the power steering fluid. also are your brakes acting funny at all? (the brakes on these trucks run from the PS pump, so that will help narrow the issue down.) if no problems found, its probably the steering box itself.

    adding Toyota AC to m1009...thoughts?

RE: AC follow up you cant charge two 12v batteries in series off of one 12v alternator, you'd have to be able to swith the ground and the positive wires at the same time, let alone the sense wire. if he's adding air on the passenger side of the truck there is enough room that if you fab a...

    final shaft

this is a major benefit when you are driving on paved surfaces where there is not enough slip to keep the rear tandem from binding up, but also has down falls, I'm sure that westech will chime in with his fun experience.

    flat towing question

if you have a sprag i'd pull the front driveshaft, just to be safe, for a longer haul. but i dont think that 30miles would do any damage.
