i agree, i have an A2. I load it with hardwood and still pulls great. Running 16" wheels and smaller tires to help out with the leveling with my 1/2 ton pickup. I agree price on a A2 is cheaper even though they also fetch a good price.
with $5+ a gallon gas on the horizon, trucking will become very expensive. I can see a great business opportunity. Start public shipping depots. Similar to UPS, take "small" items (trucks, cars, pallets of freight etc.) pack into shipping containers. truck to rail yard..... They probably...
great story, that blow out really is making me think twice about my tires. I do agree that the A3 is bouncy due to the flat spots in tires. makes weird noises that are not normally heard in the A2, i think on account that the A3 is much quieter. the only thing that I disagree with you about...
I have a m103? that the bed is shot, but everything else is in good shape. I have found a m105 bed for sale.
question 1: will this bed swap out fairly easy?
question 2: new bed is $275 (no bows/cover) , is it cheaper just to get a 105 trailer at auction and scrap the 103?

i agree, that is to much weight. i flat tow a deuce with a deuce and that is white knuckle driving (13K) but im all up hill or down hill here. i would suggest an m35A3 with better power at a minimum or a 5 ton.
Ive driven both in the snow and yes the A3 does better, and yes its because of the tires. Looks like you have a nice collection of OD iron there. I'm definitely jealous
type in m35a2 on GL, only one page comes up. last year at least 4 pages would come up. In my opinion the supply is dwindling, that's why you should buy up what you can. BTW the whole page is on the east coast, not much on the left coast. If you can get something in ID? is that Idaho? do it.
