i've been doing a lot of research on this topic - currently, no one makes a "kitted" disc brake conversion package capable of the GVWRs of the deuce. all of these kits are aimed at rock crawlers and lighter mud trucks. Differential Engineering has the best offering, but will only suggest...
a couple things to point out:
the p-pumps are found on '94 to early '98 motors. also found on industrial motors starting about the same time, but continuing on a little longer.
the exhaust manifolds can be interchanged and even flipped upside down to aide in turbo location. also...
ok, so we're relying on advertising?
look, that's cool and all. but if you submit an oil analysis to someone like Blackstone lab, they suggest sampling at no more than a 10k interval to ensure that your oil is doing it's job. personally, i'd have to have consistent results to let some oil...
point being this - flex-a-lite fans have been around for years, but as you said, they were designed for gassers. i'm skeptical that the blades are going to be freeing up that much hp at 2500 rpm - these fans were made to free up hp on cars turning much higher rpms than that... more like 4 - 5k...
the reason i ask is that you have no way of knowing the state of the oil at 25000 miles without doing an analysis. at that kind of interval your 40w could have diluted or been sheared down to 5w.
so why did you pick 25k as an interval w/out supporting documentation?
yes, it can slightly when "fogged" into the intake charge. in reality, the fuel shouldn't be that cold when it enters because care needs to be taken to ensure that the LPG is vaporized (usually by engine coolant).
but, propane is a fuel source. unless you are lacking fuel through your...
nitrous in a diesel is only good for two things:
help spool a large turbo quicker, and/or
provide O2 in excess of what the current turbo arrangement can provide based on the available fuel.
so, unless you have either of these two conditions, nitrous oxide would be a waste of time (for fruitful...
