I have a M36A2 (long bed deuce, 5ft longer than M35A2) about 160 miles away from here. Weight - just over 15k.
I have never driven a deuce and mid January / February around here means snow and ice covered roads, couple that with NDTs.

Washington lawmakers are drafting a large economic stimulus package to help create jobs and rebuild infrastructure...
It is possible that someone put a posi in it after the gov't was done with it.

I use my Jeep Cherokee XJ 4.0 to pull my M101A2 , most recently I had 1200lbs of ready mix (15 - 80lb bags) & a 40 gallon water heater in it. (Didn't even look loaded down)

The M880 rims are stamped 6 7/8 (6.875")
Van & 2wd were 6" wide
Many people do not know how to measure rim width, it is NOT outside to outside.
Humvee rims are 8.5 wide I believe
W200 plain jane wheels were never 8" wide
Dodge did offer wagon wheels that were 8.5 wide as an option
6 7/8 wide
I have 36-12.50-16.5 humvee tires on a set, they are a bit narrow
Alfa Heaven uses the Dodge rims on the CUCV's & M880's with humvee tires.
humvee rims could be used with 2"thick steel spacers, Do NOT use aluminum spacers!
Yes mine has a Ramsey 12,000lb pto winch.
The pics of the front end of yours do not look as if it had a winch up front.
