Which heat nozzle should I buy for my torch?

I don't know what size my rosebud is (it came with the torch) but it's big enough for my needs. You'll find that you can just use the cutting head to heat stuff up most of the time on things such as stuck bolts and such. About the only time you really need the rosebud if if you're heating and...

    Posting to classifieds

Is that you're form post now? If not it should be. Just copy it to your computer and use it for the daily "classifieds thread". Anybody want to take a bet another one shows up in less than two days?

    help

Ain't that the truth. Here we all are filling this thread with useless post. Maybe Gimpy is right and Will will put us all out of our misery. :cookoo:

    help

Gimpy, I think you'll be safe unless Mangus makes the classifieds post count 14K or something.;-) I actually like the heat. It sure beats freezing my a$$ off. I didn't like being locked up in prison all day today though. I was at the prison working today. I was still locked up just the...

    Submarines, now MRAPS, Latin style

While those vehicles look pretty mean, if you look at them very much you can see several flaws. Small arms could stop one of those trucks dead in their tracks fairly easy if you shoot the right places. It also appears there is little to no armor underneath.

    Yet another dumb question

Another thing (other than a big size difference) is that you never run a bias ply tire next to a radial.

best paint for axles and suspention?

The only thing I have to offer is to caution you on sandblasing the axles assembled. You'd be surprised where that sand will get. I really don't know what you could paint on the axles that will hold up. They take a beating.

    Over 1 year SF97

It used to be a year with no exceptions back went they were free. After they started charging $60 I think they will pretty much do it regardless of time past.

    Deuce/5 Ton Interchangeability

I think you're wrong. I tried to "flip" the output on a PTO and came to the conclusion that it can't be done. I tore the sucker apart and put it back together several times and even tried to use some parts out of a 5-ton PTO. It looks like it will work on paper but in the end it won't work. With...

    Deuce/5 Ton Interchangeability

I asked this same question awhile back. Seems there are several that have put a M817 bed on a deuce with ok results. The pump drive can be solved with a simple chain and sprocket setup. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/deuce-modification-hot-rodding/62989-5-ton-dump-bed-deuce.html?highlight=dump

    gear ratios

Modern diesels aren't going to like high ratios of WMO or gasoline like the multifuel does.

My avatar cannot be changed, linked to SS Hank?

I know Porter Wagner but I've never heard of Flock of Seagulls either.

My avatar cannot be changed, linked to SS Hank?

I think my avatar is messed up also. :cookoo: DH, Do you think you could fix that guy's hair?

    Front axel boot questions?

It's not so much the zipper on zipper boots that causes the problem. For some reason they aren't made of the same quality of rubber that the solid ones are. If you can find NOS military zipper boots they are much better than the aftermarket ones. I think if they ever came out with a silicone...

    Welding on a vehicle

I set myself on fire one time like that. The blaze was going pretty good by the time I realized I was on fire. Luckily, all it did was burn my shirt up.

    Welding on a vehicle

I've welded on a bunch of vehicles within fairly close proximity to the fuel tank. With that being said, every situation is different and I'd never recommend that somebody do it in a public forum.

    Front axel boot questions?

Zipper boots do suck compared to the solid ones but they are a quicker fix. You can get by with a ripped boot for a little while if you don't go through deep mud or water.

    Deuce tranny fluid change

    Scrapping rear axles

I've got several rear axles laying around. Seems they multiply when you're parting trucks. They are worth next to nothing whole but have a bunch of good parts in them. I keep them complete just to protect the internal parts and pile them up. If all I had left was a hull I believe I'd scrap them.
