I don't think it would be illegal but not very wise IMO. Seems it would attract the environmental types to wonder what you've got going on. Next thing you know, EPA is poking around taking soil samples.
I just don't think the environmental authorities would look highly on somebody stockpiling...
I think it's either 7 or 10 days (not long).
It looks like your timeline may work out anyway. You are allowed 2 weeks (10 working days) to pick it up after EUC clears. Some sites will also work will you extending the pickup time. You could give them a call (the site, not GL AZ) and ask.
The...
If you can find an old carb engine you can convert for alot less than 4K. Basically all you need is a LP tank, a vaporizer, and a LP carb. I'd say all these items can be bought new for less than 1K.
Most of our forklifts run on LP and our biggest has a 460 Ford in it. LP is cheaper than gas but...
I've removed several sets of rivets and I use a torch. It's much faster than drilling. You have to be very careful not to cut into the base metal though. I first cut the head off and then blow a hole through the middle of the rivet. The hole in the middle seems to loosen it up in the hole and it...
Hobart is owned by Miller. As has already been said, Hobart is basically just the older Miller model. If you don't require all the new features you can save quite a few bucks by going with Hobart.
I've got a Millermatic 251, a Miller Syncrowave 250 tig machine, a Miller thunderbolt XL buzz box...
If you know that you put enough antifreeze in when you put it in you will be covered unless you added straight water to it at some point. Antifreeze doesn't loose it's antifreeze qualities with age.
Soft plugs very seldom prevent cracking. I know people call them "freeze plugs" but the only reason they are there is to get the sand out of the casting when the head or block was made. They were never designed to prevent cracking of the frozen coolant. Sometimes you do get lucky though and it...
I honestly don't think there will be a final say. It is akin to the Ford vs Chevy debate. The best thing I can tell you is to do your research and use whatever you feel comfortable with.
All I could do is tell you what I use but there are some that will say I'm dead wrong.
Paul, I just did and quoted it here for you to see. I stand by what I said, " Nowhere in Stumps post did he say GL-1 flowed better than GL-5". GL-1 is not even mentioned in his whole post.
Saturn had them for around $200 (I think).
There was another PTO made to fit the deuce made by Chelsea. The only problem is they have been obsolete for years. I know from an old Chelsea catalog that they did if fact make one but I've never seen one in person.
What are you planning on running...
Well, it could be a deuce. There are a few around that were converted. The way I understand it was a A3 prototype. Although they ended up going with the Cat engine I have seen a couple come through GL. I think they actually built several but most went to foreign sales.
You'll be fine with that grease. I've been using NAPA wheel bearing and chassis grease for my bearings and knuckles for several years without problems.
In Tennessee a class "A" is a CDL. There is no class "A" non-commercial.
In TN there are three different CDLs. Class "A" (combination vehicle over 26K), Class "B" (truck only over 26K), and class "C" (commercial vehicle less than 26K but more than 10K). I've never seen them enforce the class...
I've got a pontoon also and there is no way I could ever unload off the trailer in question anywhere I've ever launched at. I personally wouldn't want to haul a pontoon on that thing.
I remember. It all started back when you got a sf97 for free. They sent it to you just like GSA does. Due to the incompetency of GL AZ that we all know about, they kept screwing them up when they sent them out. They got tired of the problems and stopped issuing sf97 forms for a time. After a...
