does it say full/past full or empty or past empty ? it could be a bad sender, broken wire. tell us more and we should be able to trouble shoot from here.
sounds like it is out of balance. happened to a friends jeep.. could not keep a u joint in it for a month. took it to the shop and it needed to be rebalanced. They said even changing a u joint can make it out of balance.
I will have mine for sale next week... just installing the new super lift springs this weekend... has two small rust holes and one bubble. Really not bad at all! New just about everything and a full military radio (working) comes with it. Let me know if you want to know more. I will be headed...
No if you go to the parts store you need to have the part numbers already. They CAN NOT look up parts like they do for your Ford or Chevrolet. Use the parts cross to get the numbers.

Do a search. there are many many places to get parts. Napa auto parts, www.odiron.com Saturn Surplus --> Saturn Surplus on the Web! the list is HUGE. There is a parts cross at the old steelsoldiers site. there is a link on the main page. Just do a search and you will be happy.

battery booster resistor... what is that? you mean on the fire wall behind the air filter? thats for the glow plugs... sounds like your truck was converted to 12 Volts. The grinding is not good. fix that.. starter or fly wheel but fix it. Other then that get a repair manual or look at the TM's...
no... but the thing to do is use the rear lug nuts. Install the rear long nuts and then the rim and then the large outer nut. that will get the rim on the hub. The valve stem will be a problem.
well I would do nothing. You will loose all the pulling power of the truck. Unless your going 4 or 5 hours away you wont get to where your going any faster. 55 or 65 is not that big of a deal unless going 200+ miles. If you want a towing truck sell the 08 and get a 3/4 ton full size with a over...
you know you guys stink! Right after the 2WD mud hole I stuffed it in a really really nasty one. If oilcan did not tell me my hubs were unlocked I would have had to swim down about 2 feet in the mud to lock them. I just got home (over 3200 miles this week) so I will post all of them and the vids...
