your cant rev it past 3000 RPM.. that's what the military sets the governor in the injection pump. you will be ok. You can try to adjust the governor springs in the transmission to lighter ones to lower the shift points.

its a 3l80e in the hummers....... no vacuum your right on the 3l80 they do have the vacuum control.. but the military uses the 3l80E

well the 3l80 still is not vac controlled, My M998 has no vac pump.

mm... the 4l80 is a 4 speed and does not have a vac control. and its computer controlled. the shift points sound a little high.. buy my 1150 sure sounds likes its going to take off before it shifts. You can try adjusting the throttle position sensor on the side of the injection pump

I got one from GMparts .com or something like that.... there 100$ with shipping now. I do have a extra brand new one I would sell fro 80 bucks still in the box

time for a new pump.. sounds like the seals are dried out and leaking. That adjuster bolt is only in there a couple turns. Not too much of it sticks out and hits that plunger.

fuel lines (hoses) one is 3/8 inch one is 1/4 inch. about a foot long each.

is your t case a air shift or sprag? make sure there is no load on the shaft or you will have major problems. best way is to jack up the front end. To get the bolts out if still stuck is a little heat or let them soak over night with some PB blaster.. I have found that CR's Freeze off works...

you do know the cucv is all civy right? only ting Military about them is the alternators, glow plug control controller and resistor, the 24v starter and black out lights. every other parts is civy. Autozone or any other pats store can get the job done.

you can stuff 33" but there going to rub. To run 33's and no rub you want to have a 3 inch lift. I have a 4" lift and it looks good on my 09. I can take the sway bar off and wheel the snot out of it and no rubbing.

sand tracks... dont see too many of them thats for sure.
