turning up the injection pump question

Nothing you can replace.. all you have to do is take off the top cover and use a 5/16 Allen wrench 1/6 of a turn. And if it falling on its face... looks like a failing pump and not a fuel problem. You may get a little more life out of her by bumping the fuel... but you will end up right back at...

    WMO(used motor oil) in 6.2 M1009

well the 6.2 is not a "multi fuel". You can not run gas or like type of light fuel. It will just blow up. But fuel oil, motor oil, ect are a heavy fuel and react close to the same on a compression ignition engine.

How to properly tow a deuce

I see EMR that you have not towed a Deuce or 5 ton very long. I have Thousands of miles and Im sure Kenny has me beat 100 fold. The tying the steering wheel trick works just fine and I have had to do it many times. Look at this vid and you will see what we are talking about.

    Deuce Air Supply

I used the air on my deuce all the time.. If I had a big job I would set the idle to 2000 RPM and that would be good to supply 120 PSI for most Impact tools. There was one time we were installing a new pine board ceiling and we forgot the air compressor. Well the deuce just sat out side and...

    lifted, new shoes!

There is lot more then two inches of yoke out of the t case. When it is at full drop a good pull and it will slip out. I have the rear axle shimmed 7* (I know 6* is max they say) and the angles are great, even at full drop. Just have to add a bit to the drive shaft. I will call my shop back in...

    singles question

I would flip the hubs.... less strain on the bearings. You could run it that way if you never load it to the hill... but I think it looks better with the correct rims and flipped hubs.

    lifted, new shoes!

looks like a 6 inch lift there.... you have to get a new rear drive shaft? I have a 4.5 lift on mine and the rear shaft looks like it could be 2 inch longer.

First injection pump change turns ugly

I think they were 1/2 inch but that does not matter really. Yes you have to turn the crank shaft or flex plate whatever you can turn and keep turning till the bolts align enough so you can take them off. Like I said before Get a Repair Manual ! Its going to help you a ton. Also a lot faster then...
