It appears that Mangus and Chris are AWOL at the moment. Chris hasn't been here in 5 days and Mangus' profile has that info hidden (it appears he hasn't been around in several days either though).
From what I've noticed it seems DH has kind of tried to run the site in the Admin absence but...
That looks like a good number for an early truck. It could be a converted gasser. Only thing I know to do is to try and contact DDoyle. I don't think Carnac has info on the USMC trucks.
I saw that happen before. I was on a jobsite that had a a**hole superintendent. It didn't take much for him to throw a screaming fit. A dumptruck driver backed up to start to spread a load of gravel. When he went to take off to spread he tripped the gate, the truck lunged foward a little, and...
1) I have no idea
2) Some trucks have the dates stamped on the dash and some don't. The frame number can tell you the true year.
3) If it's got seatbelts it's had the MWO. That's the only MWO that I know of.
4) They had winterfronts, cab flame heaters, insulated cargo covers, cago heaters...
I've towed deuces around my place (off road only) with my 3/4 ton Dodge. I'll tell you when that deuce decides to go left or right when you want to go straight it will just jerk the back of that Dodge around like it's nothing. There is no way I would attempt to pull one down the road any faster...
I'd say it would have to be a prototype if Oshkosh won the production contract.
I'd try and get David Doyle on this and maybe give the numbers to Carnac and see what info he comes up with. I appears to be a very rare truck.
Well it could happen. All you have to do is sign your name on the dotted line when you turn 18 and Uncle Sam may just let you behind the wheel of one. ;)
A C60 is a 2-ton truck. Similar in size to a deuce.
Yes, I got that letter several years ago. I think it may have been on my first EUC purchase. Never have got another one since. Best I remember it's just reminding you of what you can and cannot do with the items per terms of the EUC.
When I was your age I owned a C60 chevy (I was in the firewood cutting business and either just drove it with no license or got somebody older to drive it for me) so I don't think there's anything wrong with owning a deuce at 15. I wouldn't recommend driving it on road without a license as I did...
Looks like he may be getting his first negative if some poor sap buys that POS. Unless his shill bidding buddy wins it. He'll more than likely leave him a positive and talk about how good of deal he got. :cookoo:
Finally got the pyro installed today. Built a box that attached to the steering column and houses the pyro and a boost gauge. The 7812 regulator works like a charm. I wired the lights for both gauges in series so they are still on 24v.
I was all set to pull the turbo to drill for the probe but...
:ditto:
If only the "chunk" is bad I'd just swap it out. Complete rear axles can be had for almost nothing (I've seen them for less than $200). The chunk off a rear axle will fit in a front. Unless there is some major problems with the steering knuckle there is no reason to pay the high price...
I'm going to say that you still should be able to get those items because you've upheld your end of the contract on those items. Who knows though, they may try and hold them ransom.
I guess they could take you to court but I've never heard of them doing that. Everybody that I've heard of that didn't pay on time got the sale voided, they got charged a default fee, and their account got suspended until they paid the default fee.
I was watching this POS and was hoping to get it for pennies. Somebody posted a link to it and now it's at $7,400. See what happens when you post links to active auctions.
Just kidding. ;-)
Does he really expect somebody to believe that truck ran down the road a week ago? Doesn't look like it has a oil cap, weeds all in engine compartment, and you'd have to move 20 cars just to get it out. Notice how there were no pics of the interior. I bet as long as it's been sitting there with...
