well there is two sizes right? I know the deuce trans is the smaller one. but the block itself is the larger one. You have to install the adapter to fit the deuce trans.
on my deuce I had to at least twice a year go and tighten all the drive shaft bolts. I installed new one with lock washers and nuts and the same thing. Just the way it was with mine. I did not have any vibrations at any speeds but they would still loosen up.
well a trick i have done is there are many roads in the northern states that run along side Canada road only separated by a little grass. just hook up and drive across.
I want to go back.. it was a blast.. we stayed at a really nice camp ground just a couple miles away with showers and all that. I had the deuce there too and was romping around with that for a day.
hold the boat guys.. I'm not mad at all! Thats why I post so other can use it. I don't care where or what happens to my stuff that I post. I was just making a funny.
yeah its not good if that shift turns.. I think that shaft hooks on to a wire or something that pulls on something so if it twists it can brake off and all hell is let loose in that pump. or something
I mean the sender/gauge is shot. there is no way a 6.2 is going to run at 130* ish unless the T stat is wide open/missing or the timing is so far off but at that point it would be smoking, no power and sound like a gas engine. I have been around 6.2's for a bunch of year now and never had one...
well look at my avatar and you can see a Honda 4 door in the back of my 5 ton. You cant close the tail gate. The blazer rear axle would be on the tail gate for sure! and that is not safe at all. Its not going to fit.
seen a ton of rocker arms blow off in the 6.2 I would pop a cover and take a look. if it was a piston pin it would not have smoked.. that means fuel/air or a blown rod.. but it would have just blown up if that happened. Im betting on valve train.
rusted input shaft? First off lube the shaft, take off the cover on the bottom of the bell housing and there is a zerk on the throw out bearing. Make sure to lube all the moving joints also. There should be zerks, if not hit them up with some spray oil like "PB blaster" or like said spray.
