Its a rebuilt that was run but looks to be under 5k miles for sure.
nothing.. you cant run a diesel too lean. but you can run it too rich and melt everything. If you don't have a pyro just leave it alone and take it a little slower.
you can install i kit to work the TCC. Painless wiring and B&M make a kit for around $125.00. Look at Summit racing. I have used the B&M one before and they work great.
ok boys... the way around the NON tax diesel. I was running a ATF/diesel mix in my Deuce and it looks just like off road and smells like it also. Just keep a 5 gallon bucket of used ATF in the back of the truck and your good to go. I have driven my deuce all over the USA and not one time have I...
the deuce in the snow..... Well I have 20k odd some miles in military trucks (im a 88M in the army) and I wiped out in my deuce in the snow... it SUCKS like what was stated about.. down right hairy!... if you take it slow and ez you will be ok and I mean slow like 20 MPH on snow covered roads.
there about the same.. you can "tune" the engine to get a little better MPG so your right in line with the Deuce in stock form. Now I had my Deuce up to around 10 -12 MPG. I don't think you will get that with a 5 ton but I would say around 8 is a good number.
