I had a m1008 last year and I had flow master 40's on it and it was WAY TOO LOUD! I would stick with a good factory type of muffler. The 6.2 is just too loud to enjoy the drive. And if you think Im wrong go right ahead and do it. (former shop manager of 3 muffler shops)
well mine does rev up and down when I first start it. its like the engine is 10 seconds behind the gas pedal. but its fine after it warms up. Now remember its not going to have the throttle response as a gas engine warm or cold.

I used a 4x4 and bent up the door a bit (used it against the cab and bottom of the door) and mine shut good now.. I said good.. not great. Great = a deuce that was never made.

proper training in the Army will NEVER happen. We just got done training 1990's type of fighting and driving. We were told by the instructors that we will NEVER EVER do this in the "real" army. Just thy way it is.
use a volt meeter and see the volts when off and when running. that about the only way you will be able to do that with out a tester the puts a load on the charging system. could have a bad alt or voltage regulator. ez fixes
