that block is a spayed 4 bolt with brass lifter bores and set up for dry sump... there is nothing wrong with the block. Thats the kind of guy I am, if I need it I will use it.
200 gallons a year? the shop i was running (till i joined the Army) we were up to 200 gallons a week. I was running my deuce on 80% used ATF and she loved it! I just filtered mine using a coffee filter and changed the fuel filters on the truck once a year. Never had a problem.
cool.. If you need parts get a hold of GIJoeCzar. He is in Appleton and has a pile!! of true military parts for the 800's. I will be deployed for the next 2 to 3 years but hey if Im around I will look ya up.

no gimp.. on the multi fuels the air cleaner is on the right side.. this one is on the left... looks like a 800 type also, and its got the 800's tool box....the only thing I cant make out is the exhaust pipe
it kinda looks like a 800 but im not 100% sure but it does say cummins engine.. that...
yes you can pull the injectors and add air to hold them up... now. you can put the cylinder at top dead and do it that way too.. there is only like .060 clearance between the piston and the valve anyway so it not going to drop much if it does fall.
BUT your problem could be bad seals in the...
I had the hummer 36" tire and it was good on the high way.. 60 no problem..... CC uses a 38" tire and he says thats just about right with the power of the engine and the axle gears.
