Looks like a great installation. Good placement, good mounting, great paint job! I want to mount mine on the side of the bed, but am worried about the towbar's weight overstressing the mount if I hit a pothole or go offroading in the deuce.

I dunno if a lot of them were scrapped - there is a BIG MV collector's market in Western Europe, especially with the WWII folks. I'm sure even the worst of them got parted out and saved at least in partial form...

Would have gotten a chuckle outta me to see that military truck back over that cop car. I swear, some cops just give the good ones a bad name.....

Not sure if they are rare, but most of the CUCVs I have seen were made 1983 to 1986. They were made through 1987, but I just haven't seen any of them.

If it's in good shape, everything works, and the body is good, yes it's an okay deal. I'm not sure if there is a ready-made kit for adding a snow plow to a deuce, but I know some have made their own if they are handy with a welder.

I know the gama goat tires are wider, and a little taller, but your biggest concern is the wheel lug pattern. I believe the M37 has a 5-lug rim, the deuce is 6-lug. The gama goat is the same, 6-lug, but I have never heard of anyone producing an adapter to use deuce tires and rims on the M37...
