If that's your truck in the picture, the M37, you might have to do some serious mods to get 9.00x20s to fit, since you will need to change the wheel lug nut pattern, and probably jack the truck up a bit to fit the larger tires on there.
A better idea would be to use Gama Goat rims and tires...
Pretty cool, Kasper. Bet that's fun to drive in the snow!
Be careful, though, someone here was looking for a BV-202 or BV-206 recently. Even though you're in Denmark, you might get an offer to purchase it!
I was interested in picking this up - guy has a Gama Goat gun mount for $150 in new condition, plus shipping. Was told it was a deal, thought maybe someone here could use it. If anyone's interested, PM me and I'll shoot his email to you.
RE: Fuel Exploring!
Here's the thing, beaubeau - the punishment for War Profiteering is still death by hanging. This includes jacking up the price of commodities such as oil during a time of war. Last I checked, we were at war. So, add it all up, how come some oil execs and politicians...
HA HA! My dream truck rears it's head again! If I only had the cash, I know this will sell for $12000 or more...
I still have the Four Wheeler mags from the early 1990s that featured this truck, it was VERY well built. Soni builds some fantastic machines. For years I dreamt about owning...
Buggyman - I did get it, I have a bunch of PMs to reply to, hope to do it this evening.
bullitt798 - yes, if you can only show up on Saturday, that's no problem. We can provide you directions to the campsite prior to the event.
There's nothing more useful than a heavy hooker. Looks good!
As a side note, I recall last year when the wrecker issue of MVM came out, with the title "Heavy Hookers" on the front cover. Man, the jokes I heard at the office....
Quick question: why are the newer HMMWV gun shields missing that big chunk of steel on the left side of the pic? Seems to me the older Vietnam-era ACAV shields had a lot more steel to protect the shooter....
20 bucks says that weapon wouldn't stand up to a constant barrage of aimed 7.62mm rifle fire, especially if aimed at the sensitive electronic equipment and the operators.
RE: 4.00 per gallon
On using a centrifuge to filter (or separate the junk from the good) used motor oil, what type of centrifuge should I look for? A lab type centrifuge? What models do you waste motor oil people use?
Just letting you know I didn't receive any PM from ya. Check twice, there are several on SS with "MadDawg" in their name. Make sure you sent it to the right one. :)
More than willing to have you along, Truck. Keep in touch if you can make it,
Thanks to Opie for getting the topo maps of the area.
Getting close to the event, I'm going to back up the final RSVP to March 20th, any later and I can't order the T-shirts. If you RSVP after this, or aren't...
I disagree with that 100%. This is (well, should be) a free country, I can vote for whoever the hell I want to vote for, and the idea that not voting for one of the two "appointed" losers who win the nomination is "throwing your vote away" is just asinine. We were never meant to be a two-party...
RE: Posting M151-A2 for my Father-In-Law He wants to sell/tr
I have seen a couple M151s used to train drivers with those funky roll bars on it. They're not roll bars, more just to prevent dents and dings from drivers who get too aggressive with the jeep and bump into things. This may be that...
ha ha - all the major candidates for president this year are losers. How about put that 5 ton to good use and put a "Ron Paul for President" poster on the side? :)
