Would you believe in No. VA we've only had 2" of snow this year? Lots of rain and ice, but only a little snow. I feel sorry for my daughter, she got a sled from Santa, and only used it once. Oh well, maybe next year.
Neat pics, I miss big snows like that....
Love to, Uglyranger, but I don't have a garage/shop/basement to put it in. I live in a 1000 sq. ft. house, most of my work is done outside. Be cheaper and easier to drop it off somewhere.
hndrsonj - will check out my local body shops and see what they have available.
I have a bunch of small parts that I would like to get beadblasted, I can't find anyone in my immediate area with that type of service. I know one guy with a beadblaster but it's pretty poor and he's hard to get ahold of.
Can anyone recommend someone in the No. VA area that does this type of...
Great, Matt. Opie said he'll bring his propane grill, but if you want to bring an extra, that's great. I will also be bringing a 10x30 foot pavilion for the main dining area, also may be useful for a movie theater to show the Friday night movie.
How's the concept of the police escort going...
I noticed the positioning, too. Hard to get used to seeing there, but I bet it makes it real convenient to turn the lights on and off without leaning forward toward the dash.
Excellent job so far!
Consider it confirmed, David. I have seen pictures from Desert Storm in 1991 showing M52s and other M5X series trucks in the sandbox back then.
Very nice M52 by the way!
RE: Re: 14:00-24 or 16:00-24 tires?
I know SECO in Augusta GA has tires for the M123/M125, proper military NDT tread. If you want new tires, afraid you're gonna have to foot the bill for newer motor grader tires (as shown above in m.walker's pics. They are about as aggressive a tread as...
Hey, No.2, how much did you snag the engine for at GL? Just curious, you broke down the cost of everything in the other post, but you didn't say how much the engine sold for...
David was breaking one up, maybe it's still able to provide some parts for you....

No problem, whether you decide to make it a day event, or the full weekend, we're looking forward to you being here!
I am going to start a list of gear that people will be bringing as well, to help add to the campsite. I have the following items:
folding 6-foot table
chuck wagon kitchen...
Mine is in better condition with tons of new parts and RUNS and I'll sell for less than that. The above is a great start for a repower setup, and they are stout trucks, but he is cracked if he wants more than $1500 for that.
Roger that, Beth. Perhaps you can start a new thread describing the electric problem, perhaps a fellow Jeep owner can help with the diagnosis...
Glad you're interested in coming along, I added you to the list!
