Side note: sorry, can't use the temp gauge as an indicator - it's not functioning. Think the wiring or the temp sending unit is shot. Any ideas what could be causing this spraying coolant problem?

Hope someone responds to this soon, plan to leave for Gilbert PA in about 4 hours and hope this is nothing major... I changed the oil in the deuce today, checked all the systems to prep for the trip to PA. Filled the radiator all the way to the top. Then I took a 40-minutes ride around town...

From what CS said, that pic shows only about half the participants. The other half were out wheeling. Least, that's what he said last Spring.

RE: Why FV432 Supply and demand. There is more interest in American APCs, like the M114, M113, M59, V-100, etc, but there aren't that many around. However, there isn't too much demand for the British FV-432, and there are a lot more of them thanks to the open surplus system like the Brits...

Uh, Beetle, I think that is a candidate for cab replacement. Would be more work to fix that rustout there. And it makes me wonder, if the cab top is rusted that bad (and usually that part isn't), what else is wrong in other places in the cab floors, for example? My vote would be to rip off...

Yup - but neither my M105 trailer frame I am bringing home, or the MKT trailer, have a rear mounted pintle. So, no double-daisy chain for me...

I think the best course of action would be to close the valves after draining, thereby preventing any atmospheric moisture from entering the system. And bugs, too.... I guess if you have the air dryer and alcohol evaporator system intact, that is the best best for keeping moisture to a minimum...

I am heading past there, but I am bringing a trailer back from PA, so my pintle is already taken. Sorry....

Okay, question: Do you need to drain the air tanks EVERY DAY, even if you don't use the truck, or just every day you use the truck/brakes?

I realize that the Gilbert PA rally is coming up fast (this weekend actually), and I was looking at the pics from last year. I realized I never posted the pics for anyone to see, so I though I would do it here!

Next time I go up to Colemans, they have a pile of Mutt rims out back, stacked up in the back weeds. I'll look through them and see if I can't find a couple for you. May be a few weeks....

On a semi-related note, the M416 trailer had a variant named called the M416B1. It was designed to be a mate for the Mighty Mite, the rims were the same as on the MM. Also, it had a side mounted gas can mount, several other "paper-clip" style tiedowns, etc. Very hard to find this variant today.

Whatever happened to this deal? Anyone pick up the towbars???
