From what I've been told, yes, but you must filter it well, and never more than 20-30% in volume. That is, for every 50 gallon tank, you use a max of 10-15 gallons of filtered used waste oil. How about: mineral oil, rubbing alcohol, Coleman fuel, whiskey, hydraulic fluid, vegetable oil, butane.

Did a search, too many results.... Is there a concise list of all the known fuels that a multi-fuel M35 deuce can safely run on? Perhaps we should come up with a list of all the fuels, followed by any info like limitations of the fuel, mixtures, mods needed to the engine needed to run the...

I posted there. No responses yet. Sigh. This resto is more work than it's worth. Every time I turn around, the 15-yr hibernation it took in the back lot of the junkyard sitting unused has taken it's toll, and everything has needed a twice-over in order to make it work. I wonder sometimes...

What do you propose I do in order to correct the problem? Or rather, what series of steps should I take to narrow down where the problem lies in the oil system?

I have seen some guys on Steel Soldiers wire in a armor dome light into the cab of their deuce. Looks stock if the installation is well done. The armor light is square, available from Austin Weber on eBay (ID is beltfed34).

That dozer is a Clark 290M heavy tractor/scraper. The scraper is missing, the dozer blade is really just a push plate, and not really movable. Very useful piece of equipment, used from Vietnam era to late 1980s.

I got one of those years ago from Ft. Meade when DRMO was still running the show, in solid condition, complete hitch, and a 400-gallon tank (with a hole drilled in the side) for $5 plus tax. No kidding. When it comes to old trailers, that are incomplete, the cheaper the better.

That be mucho dangerous if the tire is under pressure. Do not attempt this at home, unless you are a trained professional, or are so weird you are the kind of guy who drag-races lawn mowers. :)
