    RE: hard Careful lining up the splines on the studs when you reinsert them. You have to make sure they are in the old splines, otherwise you will gouge new ones hammering them in, and weaken the studs to the point where they will spin in the socket. Then it will take a welder to make sure...

    I believe the frames were black on the M880s when they came out of the factory. My old M890 had a black frame....
