If it were my truck, I'd check everything out before I left the GL lot. That way, it's not your problem.
There are rumors that occassionally a few items get out. Just the way the system is, but it is a rarity. Most I ever found were a few rounds of 9mm rounds in a couple ammo cans. Nothing...
Has anyone here gone to the trouble to take a winch-less truck, and install the winch extensions, PTO, winch, bumper, etc. in order to upgrade to the winch variety? Got pics? Just want to see how much of a PITA the whole process is....
Those first two in the above pictures are HUGE trucks, used for the carrying, erecting, and launching of large Soviet designed SS-series ICBM missiles, with thermonuclear tips. The missile is carried centerline, hence the reason why the cab is divided like that.
I wonder if they would be...
I believe it is against Steel Soldiers policy to show after-action pics showing the battle damage of US military vehicles. Please remove this thread, we wouldn't want terrorists to know how to destroy cardboard HMMWVs!!! :)
RE: part 15
WOW! I mean, WOW! That was the best paint-in-progress series of pics I have ever seen done, of a correctly executed 3-color camo paint job! Fantastic work on that, Sarge! Once again, you set the high water mark for the rest of us Steel Soldiers!

RE: Demil of past equipment puchased
Agreed - lying to cover your tracks only works on items that don't get registered to the state. Vehicle records and insurance records are easy to piece together, and DIA is good at putting 2 and 2 together to figure out what you are really up to.
NEVER leave home without a gun. You never know when and why you will need it! Did you at least call the cops on your cellphone?
Great jobs on the deuce so far! We don't all have the energy and determination you do!
RE: look at the parts i found for sale, I can bring them to
If you can get them for a great package price, get the lot, save it for those who can use it. I may be interested in the radio gear if the price is right.
RE: Military radio
Since you seem to say that you are unknowledgable when it comes to military radios, I'd be happy to take those green hunks of iron off your hands. :)
Looks good! You might wanna pitch the idea of patch panels to Mike at ODIron.com. He has the equipment, and might be willing to bend some sheet metal for this purpose.
