The J1 port is 60 Amps of 208v 3phase. I run that to a PD box that splits it into 120v single phase and also has a pass through for another J1 connector. I wired up an adapter that grabs 2 of the 3 legs from that port and supplies 208v single phase. I plug the welder or plasma cutter into that...
They come in a couple of sizes. The smaller one is 23kW and 3 phase. It uses about a gallon an hour of fuel whether mildly loaded or running full load. I have one and use it for primary power for offgrid property as well as a power source for welding and plasma cutting. I'm accessing it as 120v...
98" with 11.00's. The 14.00's should put it about 104" at minimum and possibly a good deal wider.
Legal max is 102" without using placards.
I like the way it looks. The stance is spot on. This should also increase load handling and crane stability.
I'd be interested in a measured width...
I'm not sure that the opinion of a guy in Florida about the heating capabilities is relevant to the guy in Colorado who is asking. Something about different definitions of "cold".

If he's concerned about color matching.... at this point the best thing to do would be to just prep and shoot the entire truck. (House paint over the more or less intact CARC).
Even if he manages to do a partial paint job to match the rest of the faded CARC now, in 6 months it'll no longer...
Those rocks are at the Texas Canyon rest area on I 10. Always a good place to stop.
60 miles east of tucson should have you right around karchner caverns at the 302 exit...
Enjoy your evening.
Item #3 convinces me it's the PPV. Nothing downstream from the PPV is seeing air. This includes your air dryer expello valve and your air governor.
The pressure relief valve venting at 150psi is separate from your air dryer which should sneeze at 120psi or so.
The culprit is moisture in the...
It has changed....
It has gotten much WORSE.
I lived in CA in the early to mid 90's.
I'm currently in CA for a 3mo assignment. I'm appalled at the shear amount of litter everywhere. Much worse than last time I was here (Monterey county) and much worse than any of the recent assignments (...
I have not drilled a single hole in mine. Any modifications I do use existing holes.
(Ammo can center console, license plate, etc.)
My philosophy is to leave the truck unmolested and make my mods fit the truck instead of making the truck fit the mods.
Your truck. Your call.
