I heard Tan trucks are faster(just ask DUG) than OD green trucks but 3 color MERDC is even faster top end but a bit sluggish in the mid-range.

do an advanced search in the deuce forum for "starter solenoid". Might also include tech manuals or technical manuals.
Spelling counts when searching. There are two TM, for starter repair, depending on your brand. You really need to pull the starter to change the solenoid and reinstall it...
If you need to simply decide on what trailer to use, I'd say count on it weighing 2500 lbs.(bare, just rails and crossmembers.)

Adjust the theaded stop rod on the left side of the picture. It looks to have jamb nuts. I can't open that picture to see any real detail.
I would not make any adjustment without a pyrometer installed. A boost gauge can be used but is much less absolute(indication of temp). Stay under 14...
Your increasing the servo pressure spring. Adjusting the servo pressure can be done externally also. It is not doing the exact same thing that adjusting the max fuel rate does. It will increase power, EGTs and boost(not as controlled)
