I have not used THAT one, but have used a couple other 24v inverters. 1800watts isnt that great for the prices I've seen them(that model you linked to) sell for. I picked up a 1500w unit for 100.00 and love it.
Check for fuel at the bleeder first. If you have fuel at the bleeder and it does not start by itself, give it a quick whiff of starting fluid. If it starts and dies, you probably haven't got the filter O-rings on right and are sucking air.
Sounds good in theory, but I doubt it would work. If theres no weight on the tire, it would create a vacuum and fuel will not flow. If the tire is on the truck, you'd never get more than half the fuel out - and thats if your lucky. Spending time to inflate the tire so fuel flows would be tricky...
I don't mean to come off as crass, but I had a bearing go bad and the front tire almost fell off. I would hate to see that happen to anyone here on SS(especially at speed).
Its also SO MUCH CHEAPER to grab a set of bearings and keep them with you "just in case". It was HUNDREDS of dollars...
Why ask for trouble? If you even THINK it could be a bearing on the front, pull a spline cap and check! Maybe the nuts loosened up or in fact, its a bad bearing.
Going 70 and not knowing will just get you that Darwin award faster...
Yup, but it is what came up when I did a google search on the genset. As it turns out, Guyfang is helping me out with it. A friend of a friend got one of the sets and his schematic is not legible.
Once you get the pump on, pull out the glow plugs and crank it over till you get fuel mist out of(all) the GP holes. Then put them back in and fire her up.
