No kidding; good eye you got there. Didn't even notice them until you pointed it out. The skis are so wide (wider than I would have expected), that I would have figured them as just storage cribbing or something. Are there wheels built into the skis (for take-off and landings off the snow)?

Reading here back East about the CA drought (and the legislated 25% reduction in use). The maps make it look grim. But the news here never tells the whole story; not like you get when you talk to somebody who is there: - How bad is it? - Does it hit home as hard as it sounds?

I studied architecture through college, and we always made a scale model of anything we designed on paper: - It forces you to work out the idea thoroughly in your head. It's not a bad idea at all.
