I searched in the TM 9–2 320–289–34 for instructions on how to replace the fuel supply line, but I’m having trouble finding reference to doing that.
Must you remove the intake manifold in order to remove and add a new fuel supply line?
Mice chewed through the fuel line and I need to replace...
Hi guys…
I am usually active on the CUCV side of the forum, but I was just given an old bulldozer and realized this afternoon that it was most likely in World War II.
Is there a forum for old construction equipment in steel soldiers?

I just wanted to make a note thanking you guys for having this forum and for all of the archives available.
My CUCV had recently started having issues with not starting when cold. There were a couple times I needed to utilize the vehicle, so I did the unthinkable, the act which should never be...
I busted out my window and bent up the top part of my tailgate when I hit a tree limb backing down a trail the other day. Uggg....
Now there is a huge crease in it and I need to determine whether or not to have a body shop repair it (unless someone can tell me how to do it myself) or replace...
I'm having trouble disassembling the upper steering shaft from the lower steering shaft? TM manual says to separate, but not how to get them unstuck.
How do I separate the upper from the coupling?
I have most of the original column out, but can't get this part to come apart.
Suggestions...
Well, I've been trying to find this all afternoon and can't, so I'm giving up and will phone a friend. ;)
The connector inside the column where the directional lever connects broke off and I can't find the part listed in TM9-2320-289-34P in Figure 127: Steering Wheel and Column.
Can someone...
Hi Guys,
I did a search for an updated part number, but can't seem to find it.
The part I'm looking for is 9754764 which is the "ring, spacer" for the steering wheel horn button. Page 307, item number 66 on page 307 of TM tm9-2320-289-34p.
I have looked around online and can't seem to find...
I have read countless threads on the paint codes for the SEM brand, but am not finding a match on the current SEM website. They are giving a different paint code of either 4725 Dk Bronze or 4050 Very Dk Bronze...
OK...I broke down and had a diesel mechanic work on my 09. He replaced the IP with a rebuilt Standyne from my local diesel injection rebuilding shop. (They were recommended to me; old school shop)
Well...my mechanic calls me this afternoon after taking her on a test run and tells me that in...
I know there are a LOT of places to get dashpads and I've read so many postings about dashpads that my head is spinning.
Who has the best quality replacement dashpad?
Are the ones from our favorite catalog distributor worth it?
Anyone else have any worthwhile?
Are there any stores that carry...
I ripped out old blue carpet that the prior owner put in and now there is adhesive all over the floor.
How do I remove the old, dried adhesive?
I plan on laying down bedliner in the interior.
Thanks.
More and more my IP is giving me troubles. I have to keep bottles of water in the truck and pour over the IP each time, if I turn the engine off, when warm, for more than 30 mins.
Although I love the truck, I can't keep worrying about this truck leaving me stranded and I also don't want to...
I finally have my CUCV running fairly well, except for the IP that will need to be replaced one day. (It won't start after running, from time to time..)
That being said, I have run out of time to do some major/minor work on it, so I need to find someone in the N Texas area who is familiar with...
My M1009 will not crank.
All lights work (Gen 2 in my case)
The GP relay clicks as does the interior starter relay.
changed the starter out)and still no crank.
jump started it, but no change (batteries brand new in December)
What am forgetting to look for or missing?
I need to find my VM...
I had not driven my CUCV in the rain/ice until this week and when I went to turn on the wipers I found that the passenger side blade is not touching the glass when it moves. It may be touching a little bit, but not enough to clean the glass or keep the rain off the windshield on the passenger...
I just had an offer to be able to utilitze someone's paint (bedliners only) shop to spray my CUCV with a bedliner type of material. They may even donate the liner material.
The catch? First, the shop is located about 30 miles from where I live. Second, I have to prep the truck for the job...
I am trying to figure out why my truck is not starting and I believe it is an electrical issue. This morning I "finally" learned how to use a voltmeter, thanks to YouTube. :)
I tested:
a. Batteries - fine
b. Alternator - (Only one; Roscommon 12v truck) - seems to be fine
c. Firewall bank...
I may have found one reason why my truck is having issues starting. Both wires to the temperature sensor are frayed and barely hanging on. I am trying to replace it, but I am having trouble removing the old sensor.
Should I "muscle" it out? Or is there another trick?
