Cheap china starter relay vs. more expensive, more reliable U.S.A. made relay

Gee Doghead, I thought a PM was PRIVATE! Now I know you've gone beyond your authority. I stand by my position that you should lose your moderator priviledge. Of course, you'll delete this message and tell me it's off topic. It's nice to know that as a moderator you can post anything you...

Cheap china starter relay vs. more expensive, more reliable U.S.A. made relay

Well, let's hear it guys (and girls). Which would you rather put in your truck???? A. cheap china made starter relay (NAPA 7-01860-1) or... B. more expensive (possibly double the price) and potentially better relay made in the USA? I'll be the first to vote. B !!!!! and here's...

The Napa part mentioned early in the post (part 7-01860-1) is made in China. It has a Trombetta sticker on it and it says "made in China".

Shift lever bushing... I need a picture!

Thanks, now I have to figure out how to fix mine. In your 3rd picture, the spring is compressed against the arm and the frame support. Does the bushing go between the spring and the support? The arm on mine goes completely through the support and the spring is uncompressed. Thanks for...

I don't have a bushing on the control rod and need to know where it should be installed and hopefully get a picture or schematic to help me see the original setup. I've...

TreadWright Tires - Anyone run them here?

I bought some guard dogs (e) just a few days ago. They're being delivered next Tuesday. I don't have any experience with them, but after the glowing reviews online and after speaking with their customer service rep., I pulled the trigger. I like the look of the tire and for the price, they...

M1008 problems. I did some research here on SS about ball joints and kingpins. I know

Your load carrying ability will be decreased with a semi-floating rear end. For most owners, it wouldn't be a big deal. As someone already pointed out, the benefit may be higher speed at a lower rpm. If you're looking for larger tires, adding a lift kit and carrying heavy loads, it may be a...
