i wasnt getting any brake pressure to the rears so i bypassed the rear valve, now its obviously too much pressure, would installing a universal proportioning valve from summit fix the issue?

My daily commute to work used to be 35 miles mostly highway each way, used to run 65mph in my m1028 on stock tires. Got around 13-14mpg. She definately screams at 65 (gps verified, speedo actually reads 70), wouldnt advise it but im extremely abusive on my truck, im hoping the 6.2 pops so i can...

Same here, i run to work in it, 30 miles each way at 65-70. Ive put a solid 1000 miles on it like this so far with no problems.

When i first got into cucv's i frequently used ether to start my old 08 with shot glowplugs. Luckily i never had a problem, once i learned how bad ether was for it i quit using it. Sold the truck for 1600 with no windows, the new owner told me he was going to rig up an ether injection for ease...

got an exhaust ticket in it the other day, apparently according to the officer it sounded like a jet engine.....uh...yeah, i told him it sounds like an old n/a diesel with a hole in the exhaust........

Installed a 3" body lift, not sure why i did it, just got bored. Dont care for the added resistance in the steering, its gonna stay in until i get mad at it.

My M1028 was an ex SEMO(state emergency management office) truck and was repainted blue/white 2-tone. I personally don't like the color combo, this spring/summer its going olive drab. Anyone know where i can buy the paint? Doesn't necessarily have to be the orig. CARC.

Installed a 3" body lift, what a pain the ass. Now my radiator leaks :-( mustve stressed it in the process. Tomorrow ill go out and search for a new one.
