I've been meaning to get pictures of this for a while, but have just finally got around to it. Kenwood 4x50 watt rms head unit with an Ipod hookup and two pioneer 6x9 speakers make a lot more noise than I thought they would. Not a bad system for $160 with a 3 year warranty on all the parts.

In the age of $4 diesel, has anyone done any mods to their cucv to improve fuel economy? The 20mpg stock is pretty good, but any more would be lovely. I was thinking a better air intake and exhaust, but there has to be something else that can be done.

With diesel hitting $4 a gallon, any alternative fuel is now welcome to me. Do I have to filter my used motor oil before I run it in my cucv? I was just gonna run about 1 gallon per tank so it would be ok in there. Any other cheep ones out there?
