    CDR Rubber Hoses

I need both of the little rubber elbow hoses that connect the CDR tubes to the manifold. The ones that are at a ridiculous 45° angle. Chevy discontinued it (Chevy part# 14050445). And NAPA or Carquest doesn't have anything that will work. Anyone have any idea where I can get them? Or another...

Anyone know anything about these comm/radio units??

Just like the title says. I want some info. I have these radios/comm units in my M1009. I'm looking to get rid of these radios. I'm pretty sure they are in working condition...I haven't messed with them much to verify that. But I am not too sure what to ask for them. Anyone have any idea? Or...

    I'm Back!! With a new M1009

I sold my M1008 a few years ago due to its impracticality as a daily driver/highway cruiser...but I have come down with the OD Disease again...I found a great deal on a 1985 Blazer M1009. It's got 26k mi. on it. It was owned by a guy who used to buy and fix up a lot of CUCV's and other OD...

    Fuel Pump

I'm bypassing my mechanical pump (its leaking) with a electric in-line pump. Correct me if I am wrong the 6.2's need 8-10 psi. The pump I found at Carquest was good for 5-9 psi (like $60+ I should get a discount), the guy said it is listed for 6.2 diesels. Think this pump will be enough??? I'm...

    Another fuel leak....

I just took the green machine out for a little drive today and when I parked it I noticed a little drip spot, it was fuel. Upon further searching I traced the leak to a unit bolted on the front, bottom passenger side of the engine. Is that the lift pump? I'm not sure if the leak is from the hose...

    Pulley??

The drive/crankshaft pulley on my m1008 is very wobbly. Anyone had this problem? Could it just be loose and needs to be put back on and properly torqued, or is there a deeper issue i should be on the watch for? And are there any big problems that can be caused by this?

Sorry if this makes anyone cry...

I found a few pictures of what mining companies like to do to M1008's.

    Winter is coming...winterizing ideas

My M1008 starts kinda crappy if its below 60 degrees and takes a lot of glow plug cycling (pugs are new). So needless to say it isn't going to start if its below 40. What are the best ways you guys have found to make your 6.2's to start easily in sub-zero temps?? Please help!

    Speed/Gearing/Tire size?!?!

I was wondering what the best ways to get the RPM's down for highway driving :driver: in an M1008. I need to be able to drive fairly frequent 150 mi highway trips comfortably with decent mpg. I know that currently @ about 65-70 mph the 6.2 is pushing 3100 RPM's or so. I know thats pushing the...
