I am interested in installing the glow plug kit but after looking at them do not know if I want to go with the 12v system for $57 or go with the 24V system for 74+. the 12 volt plugs are easer to find and If I am changing it out for a different glow plug system anyway. What would you guys do?
I have a M1008 that I picked up from the city garage two years ago. It has had some major tinkering on the wiring before I got the truck (It is still a 24volt starter). When I got the truck I could hear the glow plugs cycle (click on and off) and the tuck would crank. It has stopped cycling and...
Get someone to get into the truck and turn the st wheel back and forth. Get under the front and look at the tie rods/front end. Do you have slack or is anything popping? if there is something wrong with your king pin you should be able to grab the top of the tire and pulling it in and out and...
that looks good. It is even more appealing since some SOB stole my 6X8 two months ago. I would love to find that son of a B. sorry got off on a rant. nice tailer:wink:

My truck did this about a month ago. The Genarators have a voltage resister. I took mine to a local altanator repair shop and they fixed it for $30 bucks. Before I went to the altanator shop, Autozone tested it and said the good one was bad and the one that I ended up getting fixed was good...
sorry, for the long winded bs. Yes, I got it from LMC it was like $299 plus tax. it came with the speakers and dome light. I already had the CD player. They have the option of the head liner with or without speakers, but it is the same price. The speakers sound pretty good in my truck and are...
How difficult was it to install and where did you get the headliner - LMC? Maybe it also helps as a sound deadener.
Looking at your dash it seems civvy too (heater/defroster thingy on the passenger side).
Walter
The head liner was pretty easy to put in. I ran the wiring threw the door rubber...
