    M923A2 Brake Dust Cover Removal/Replacement?

Looks like you have to take the front hub off and then brake assembly off the knuckle to get the one piece dustcover off. Major pain. Anyone know why they went to a single dustcover.

    M923A2 Brake Dust Cover Removal/Replacement?

Short Story Truck was jacked up by tire repair company and it came off the blocks and bent the left front brake dust cover. The TM shows a two piece dust cover. Mine are a One piece dust cover. Any help would be appreciated.

M923A2 Wet Tank Valve ID on front of Tank Where CTIS Pressure Sensor is.

Ok thanks. That makes sense now.

M923A2 Wet Tank Valve ID on front of Tank Where CTIS Pressure Sensor is.

So it stays closed until 65PSI or it limits it's output to 65PSI? I thought it was a limiting valve to keep the pressure lower than @120.

Plugging CTIS at it's Air Source?

The front of the Wet tank has 3 things hooked to it. The CTIS pressure sensor which has an electrical connection. There is a pressure valve to limit pressure to some things and then there is a yellow line only that goes to the CTIS control valve in the cag.

M923A2 Wet Tank Valve ID on front of Tank Where CTIS Pressure Sensor is.

Do you know the part number for the top middle smaller valve? And where to get one?

M923A2 Wet Tank Valve ID on front of Tank Where CTIS Pressure Sensor is.

The one I have looks like the top Middle Picture. The one I just ordered for a spare looks like the bottom picture. So I will need to plug two of the holes. The exit and one of the top holes. I like my little one. Thanks.

M923A2 Wet Tank Valve ID on front of Tank Where CTIS Pressure Sensor is.

My valve is smaller. Is that one in your picture the MBI KN31000 from the sticky? I couldn't get the picture to in large so I could see it better. Do you plug the out and one of the exits to use the KN31000 since there is only one line out of the valve on the truck?

M923A2 with ABS Front Brake Proportioning Valve

Thanks again simp5782. Just ordered it from O Reilly. I am new to this truck so the learning curve is pretty much straight up. I have the part's sticky as well. A lot more to this than my M1009.

M923A2 with ABS Front Brake Proportioning Valve

It's Bendix 5007510. Looking for a spare. Found one on line but it's quit high in price. It's the one in front of the crank harmonic balancer mounted in the frame. Some told me that there is a plastic ball in it and when the ball comes apart the failure causes all the air to dump out of the...

M923A2 Wet Tank Valve ID on front of Tank Where CTIS Pressure Sensor is.

Thanks for the info simp. My valve is smaller and a different design but it must do the same job. According to the TM the other line I removed had to supply the CTIS but it was not specifically labeled in the TM. The TM only shows a CTIS diagram with that line coming off the wet tank along...

M923A2 Wet Tank Valve ID on front of Tank Where CTIS Pressure Sensor is.

On the front of tank there is a pressure sensor for the CTIS on one side. In the middle is a pressure regulating valve. On the other side is the CTIS supply to the valve in the cab. They are all connected to the Wet Tank by a quad fitting. What does the middle pressure regulating valve and line...

Plugging CTIS at it's Air Source?

I am new to the M932A2 I just bought. I have the TM's and have been looking through them but it is not clear where to unhook and plug the CTIS system from which air tank source. I assume there is a connection for the air to the lines going to the system feeding the tires and another to the valve...

    M1009 Brake Caliper Problems

Believe me everything looks normal except the calipers with pads installed won't fit. You can get the calipers on with no pads but the finger you are talking about is under the caliper. Don't try to mod this it wouldn't be safe. While you have it apart get new seals and repack your bearings. It...

    Single Exhaust on M1009 Question??

Thanks guys just priced a stainless steel 3 inch dual system at a local muffler shop approx. $250.00 including Stainless mufflers. So no money savings worth doing the single. In my day (70 model F150 with 302) duals just didn't last long due to rusting out but SS should be fine.

    M1009 Brake Caliper Problems

If you did what I did you have to swap them out. They are on the wrong axle side. That will fix the problem. Yes it's a pain but much easier since you just had them apart. Just roll up you sleeves and do it. It will go quicker than you think.

    Single Exhaust on M1009 Question??

Is there a manufactured cross over pipe? I have searched threads here and missed it if it is there. Thanks in advance!
