Seeing is this my first post on the rally thread- Zouts will not be attending.
If there is any day I could make it - it might be Fri night in the POV.
Company I worked for went chapter 11 - hired by a new company in the same position for however this lasts and I lost all my vacation and personal time - start over time. Other details about the position might call for me to be out of State during this time as well - I am not sure until this week.
Only reason I delayed from posting is because the rally has nothing to do whether I come or not - it is a great time to be there for whatever reason if you can make it. I just have other items not under my control that make it out of reach this year.

Dave, if you are not out of town, you definitley need to come Friday night. One night is definitely better than not at all. That being said, good luck with your new job.

Dave....bummer man.....I've went through the same thing when my company was bought out back when I hauled HAZ-MAT. Each succeeding company paid less and had lousier benefits. Sad to say it's the face of corporate America today.

Although it would be nice if you were at the rally it is by far and away more important to take care of things on the home front first.

Find out what your new company knows about the "Georgia Mafia"!! Make sure they know that certain key folks are subject to "abduction" at times but are usually returned in a few days semi-unharmed!

My camera feeds back video in 2.4 wifi. Not overly concerned with the feed but it helps frame shots.
Mike, maybe you can pile a bunch of your stuff in the trailer box and tarp it real nice. If you do, put it up on pallets!

Well, you're about to get it.
I am really excited about this year folks: I think this is the year that we take everything we've learned and put it together and create an event that no one can top.
No rally, whether put on by SS or the MVPA or anybody else, has grown like this one. No rally has these kind of attendance numbers, both in terms of vehicles and people. We've (the rally leadership) spent years trying to grow the parts of the rally that worked well or that people liked and shrink the parts that didn't work well or weren't well received. I'm not bragging or running other rallies down; I'm trying to convince everybody to show up!
And I really think the recipe that is boiling now and will be served up in about a month is going to be scrumptious.
