    Issues with SF-97

I went through the process, and paid good money to get a state title for the first truck that I bought from GP back in May. I have not received a title yet. Every time I call GP I get the same story. They say it should be out in a couple of weeks each time. Of course that is after their...

GL Incorrectly charging sales tax on motor vehicles?

I've had the same thing happen to me here in Oklahoma before on some trucks I had bought in Missouri. Missouri charges tax and then Oklahoma refuses to recognize it. So I get to pay it twice. That's what made me do a double take when they charged me sales tax in Louisiana this time.

GL Incorrectly charging sales tax on motor vehicles?

I just wanted to tell everybody about a recent experience I had with GL. I do this in hopes that I can keep others from getting charged too much for what you bid on and won. It all started yesterday. I bid on and won two trucks in Ft. Polk Louisiana. Naturally I get my invoice today and it shows...

    Battery charger for a 923

+1 on this battery charger. I use it for all of my 24v stuff. I am in the process of making a slave adapter for it.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

The thought had crossed my mind. I even have some of the multi voltage grote led lights. Unfortunately, the holes were already cut in the bed.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Its a custom made job that I bought off of a local. Its 8'4" long and 80" wide. I had the hardest time finding a flatbed that would fit a 34" frame rail, which is what the cucv pickups have. I had to make some custom brackets for the bed which has a 38" industry standard frame rail. With a...

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

I could probably work you in right after my ongoing home remodel, but I figure that by the time that's finished my truck will need a repaint again :-P. Plus I really dont want to see another paint gun for a while after this one.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

I removed my stock fuel tank due to it being exposed when I installed the flatbed and plumbed the 923a2 fuel tank into the existing lines with the correct fittings. Since the tank was already set up for pickup and return lines it was fairly simple. Just bolt it down and plumb it up. I am even...

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

I finally got around to working on my m1008 during my time off in the past few weeks. I added a 6" rough country lift kit, 37" humvee radials and beadlocks with 2" spacers, and a homemade flatbed. I also added a custom made pipe bumper, a new exhaust system exiting through twin 5" stacks going...

My Fort Polk, LA M1008 Project

Great looking truck. I wanted to bid on that one but I had just bought a lift kit and several other accessories for the one I already have. Good luck with yours, it looks like a very solid truck.

    RRAD Rebuld questions

I guess I got lucky with the last RRAD rebuild that I got. I liked it so much that I decided to keep it for myself. It was rebuilt in 2013 and the tag on the engine concurs with that date. It seems to be a top level rebuild vs some that I have had in the past. Some that I have been through in...

    Recently Purchase M923a1 problem...Big Problem

Or another scenario is that she was bidding to try and run the prices up and keep them high. Although that is unlikely, it is a possibility. Gl trying to milk the rolling stock for all its worth before Iron Planet gets it.

    Recently Purchase M923a1 problem...Big Problem

Heck, I dont "need" any more of them ever again, but I do have several regular customers that hit me up for trucks every now and then. I like to bid closer to home anyways. It makes transportation and preview a lot more easier .

    Recently Purchase M923a1 problem...Big Problem

I hate to hear that you ran into the troubles that you did. You might have some bad O-rings around your oil cooler which would cause water to get onto your oil. I bid on nearly all of those trucks at St. Louis. I kept my bids low and I came out empty handed. My feelings weren't hurt after I saw...

Anyone use Grote flasher unit 44010 on Deuce?

It looks like it should. You will have to do away with your three pin connector. How much does one cost? I believe the oem one usually runs around $50.
