Many thanks for going to the trouble to get a good winch out of the pile. It will be a lot easier to get mounted if all I have to do is re-seal it and shoot a coat of paint on it. Thanks again Stretch!!!
There are other choices. You can weld deuce wheel centers into any wheel that will clear the drums. I have seen HMMv wheels modified for this purpose. They are plentiful, inexpensive, and look right.
RE: Re: Fuel line fittings
There are several grades of nylon tubing available. The Nylon 11 had good chemical resistance. Some are more flexible, and run at lower pressures. Look at the McMaster Carr catalog online. It has charts showing the chemical resistances of various materials, plus...

RE: Re: Just Purchased a M105 Trailer and need some help.
I think the little Hino trucks have a 16 or 16.5 dual wheel that has the deuce bolt pattern. They might be good on the M105 trailer, just have to watch the drum clearance.
The ring is retained by the tire bead. If the groove in the wheel is good, and the mating surface on the ring is good, then a twisted ring is not a problem. Now, if there is a kink in the ring, discard it. A smooth twist is not a real issue. I always soap up the bead really well before I air up...
Emmado, I got my tire hammer on-line from

I think it was just over $80 including shipping. I got my KenTool lock ring tool from McMaster Carr a couple of years ago.
