    Thomas Skid Steer (Opinions)

If you read the company info, it sounds like they are in some form of bankruptcy. They have been de-listed from AMEX, and have just restarted production after a hiatus of some sorts. I did a little research, they started making skid steers when the original Bobcat patents expired, along with...

    Air compressor belt

I shipped 2 golf cart wheels and tires, bolted together with a piece of 1/2" all thread and self locking nuts. You guessed it, only one arrived, and the wheel had been severely bent. This was UPS, not USPS. The box was completely gone, however, I had put my return address on one of the wheels...

The Kubota engines are good ones. I would be more concerned with the rest of the machine. Are parts available? That would have a large bearing in my decision.

Home Brew Rebuild and Body Work

You can buy cab patch panels from a variety of sources, including JCWhitney. The rusted areas can be cut out easily with a $19 jigsaw and some fine tooth metal cutting blades. You should be able to get them at the BX. The new epoxies are quite the rage for repairing body panels. They are...

    1952 Studebaker V18A/MTQ

Great looking old truck. Extremely rare to find in any condition, much less as good as you got. The missing parts are not going to be too hard to find where you live, so I expect to see it at Aberdeen next year!

Cab top made easy but found it the hard way

15.5's wow what a difference W/10" rim build

RE: Re: goodyear mvt Joe Try to find someone who has a bunch of 1600R20 flaps surplus. I paid $10 each for 6 of them when I got my 14.50R20's. The 14.50 R20 is the same height as the 1100R20's I currently run on my truck. As long as you are adding to the outside of the wheel, you shouldn't hit...

    needle scaler

They are great for cleaning up deuce wheels. They do use a fair amount of air, that is the downside to them. They will shake you to pieces after a while!

    Air compressor belt

No. Nut "26" holds the back half of the pulley onto the compressor shaft.

    Engine oil leak possibilities.

Mine leaks from the same place. Doesn't bother me enough to change the head gasket.

    Florida Round Up...

I was thinking the same thing Devilman. Drill and tap, set a stud in place, then use a large shock washer and rubber isolator to keep the rod in place. If you have torque rods that have bushings that are looking a little rotten, it could be a good fix.

    New Tire Setup on Deuce

Joe If you are a decent welder, your rims will be fine. As for tubes, I have heard people use 1100R tubes, and 1200R tubes with equal success. I am not sure if anyone actually makes a specific 14.50R20 tube, but as long as you use a radial tube you should be fine. You might want to ask JATonka...

    Rebuild my 1962 M37

RE: Re: RE: Rebuild my 1962 M37 If the axles have not ever been run dry, you will probably find that seals are all that is needed, possibly pinion bearings. The axle bearings will probably need replacement, as they are subject to get dirt in them from bad seals. Tranny and transfer case? How...

    Engine oil leak possibilities.

If it is not leaking some oil, then you have run out. These engines tend to be externally lubricated. Mine leaks enough to keep the engine messy, but it has only used 2 qts. in 3000 miles. I wouldn't sweat it.

If you are pulling out the OA331, PM me what you would take for the distributor assembly. One of our members in Spain is looking for one.

12 volt system with 24 volt starter

Just post what pieces you need. I have a parts truck I am tearing down (no alternator, but most switches). I can probably make up most if not all of a gauge panel as well. We tend to help each other out around here, it is one of the symptoms of the disease (OD Fever).
