We have one exactly like it Ray. We use ours for fighting wildland fires and as I post to this thread, it is at a monster grassfire 20 miles north of here. As mentioned above, you will definately find that the power steering is a nice feature of the 813. Ours is also a 70 Kaiser.

Guys, I have tried searching for this but to no avail and i am short on time. Our M813 fire truck is down until i can find a schematic for the back of the headlight switch. I basically need to know which wire feeds power into the switch housing so that i can run it to the master battery switch...

Sure you can !! Just gas on it and don't let off. I used to do this all the time in my old deuce. There was one hole that everyone got stuck in except me. And my old truck would just waller it out.

Our M813 (the red one) will run 55 wide open with 1,200 gallons and 11x20's. The white one belongs to a neighboring department and is claimed to run 70 with 1,000 gallons.

I am fixing to put a winch on my 5 ton but it doesnt have that roller assembly. What is the purpose off this roller and slide up on top of the winch? Also, I don't wanna look like a dummy later down the road, you say that the cable on a 5 ton goes under the bumper ?? Chad
