Great use of a hi-lift.
I bought this last summer when I changed out all my tires. But it was a heck of a lot cheaper last summer. It's worth it's wait in gold and once you get the feel for it, usually pops the bead in one or two swings. What made it hard was doing it in July when it was...
I do not have a movie clip, but I bet it took me a half hour backing them all up and around my truck at our campground. I tend to wake up early in the morning when everyone else is still sleeping. I get bored with myself and my curiosity usually wins over and I just have to try something for...
Looks like the pins for the locking mechanism and cam. Question is, where is the rest of the cam and locking mechanism. Bad smell, howling, broken Gov-lock parts. You need to rebuild it. It will not be lasting much longer.

109th Med Co, Iowa is what I know.
I am trying to figure out the year and make so I can get it titled.
Looks like a nice mine. Is there anything around that shaft warning you that it is there? If you call the BLM and give them the GPS location, they will come out and fence it. I love seeing old mines, but hate to think of someone falling into it, that does not see it there.
Everything I have came with a Vehicle Classification Inspection document. There the unit inspector lists all that is wrong and the cost of parts and labor to repair, and final reason for turn-in. Now Iowa might be different, as there is not a G/L employee there, but this could be where G/L gets...
Do yourself a favor, get some brake clean and clean out the grease so you can see what you are dealing with, get a good picture of the axle spline. To me, it looked like the the splines were all buggered up, making it difficult to get the rest of the lockout gear off. You are going to need...
Get the rest of the lockout off the axle then you should see the nut. I could not tell by the video but either you have a snap ring on the tip of the axle holding that inner spline on, or the teeth of the axle are messed up, preventing you from sliding it off the axle. Clean the edge of that...
You may want to teach your wife to pump the brakes if they go to the floor.
For normal street driving the 14bolt would be overkill, and more work to switch over then to repair you bearing and spindle. Same goes for the lockouts, no heavy off roading, any lockout will work for you you.
I see a new trend starting now. Some with the Chevy SS stripes, others with the Mopar tail wrap, and yet others with the off centered Lemans stripe.
I like it
Mine had a huge 100amp panel in the back, so I have a 4 prong plug on my truck. There was a blank plate below that, and that is where I added my stainless 30amp marine plug. I had doubt about ever finding a good price on that 4 prong plug at the top.
