I am looking for help in identifying this light tower. It looks to be military but has no data plates anywhere. The generator is an Onan diesel. I believe the model is a 6.0 JE. I can't find any info on it either. I am trying to get it running but can't figure out if it is 12 volt or 24 volt. I...
My fire department was just given a generator/lightower from the DNR. On the outside it is identified as a 460 CES Power Pro LC-1. It is painted army green but doesn't seem to have any of the usual military identification plates on it. It has a diesel Onan generator. The light tower has 4 large...
I'm trying to get a MEP-005 running and am having problems with the fuel injection pump. There is fuel being delivered to the pump but it doesn't appear to be sending fuel to the injectors when I loosen a line to check. I have figured out there is an electric shutoff solenoid on the top of the...
Can someone explain to me how these operate? I've looked in TM's, done searches on here and scratched my head but I can't figure it out. By looking at it, it seems to want to hold the hex nut in place while rotating the square nut when I want to do just the opposite. I figure I'm doing something...
Your amperage is actually going to be the same in this case with 24V because you have the two lights in series. Voltage = Amps x Resistance. Since both your voltage and resistance are doubling the amps will remain the same. So, if you needed relays before for the switches you still will.
I've asked this question before but never got an answer. One of my trucks has both an electric horn and an air horn. Only the air horn is wired now and works fine. Is the electric horn supposed to be wired in parallel to the air horn so they both sound at the same time or is it supposed to have...
I'm not sure what you meant by shimming the passenger side? Does that mean you only shimmed 1 of the bolts? Starter shims go between the starter and engine across both bolts. Are you using actual starter shims or just putting washers or something inbetween the starter and engine?
I just got this new trailer and am trying to figure it out. I have looked online and found something called a WHMR, Watercraft - High Mobility Reconnaissance. Maybe that's it. The propulsion system must have been classified because it is missing. The trailer looks to be a modified generator...
46 It is
papercu - you are absolutely right. It is a 46 which makes a lot more sense since I did indeed get the truck from Camp Grayling. I was wondering how a truck from N. Carolina had made its way all the way up there to be auctioned. So - what can you tell me now since all the numbers seem...
Revision To Right Bumper End
Ok - I went out and looked again this morning and the right bumper marking is different than I originally thought. It is 16MP 3-238G SAB. Does that make more sense? Thanks again
Hard To Read
I don't think putting up a picture of my bumper will help. The markings have been painted over and are pretty hard to read. I'll give it another look tomorrow and see if I may have those numbers wrong. What should I expect to see?
Can anyone help me out with the meaning of the bumper markings on my deuce? They 16MP82386SAB on the right end and HHC 08 on the left. Thanks in advance!
