Lime Green for me too...
They were the only ones the supplier had in stock, and my truck isn't quite show quality!
Call the seller, they may be willing take the lime green ones back and drop ship you some pretty red ones!

WHAT!?!?!?! Is Doc going to miss a chance to talk me out of some cash?
I can't come within 50 feet of Doc without him coming up with some kind of SWEET DEAL that I can't live without!
If Doc ain't there, it ain't a rally, mini or otherwise!
Pick a date, and I (along with my green...
RidgeRunner,
New parts will cost you about a C note each....
BUT, they aren't made with rubber bushings, these have ball joints in them. Quite a bit of an upgrade if you have some extra cash laying around.
I am sure used ones are around, the classifieds are your friend!
I can't wait...
No problem guys!
The steel soldiers search feature is somewhat clunky now and then. A tip that USED to work was to google search and add the term "site:steelsoldiers.com". Unfortunately there is a google bug. So now you have to copy the link from the google search, and paste it into the...
jluv1185,
I just did this about 4 months ago, so I have a pretty good list handy...
Mounting hardware list courtesy of Treeguy here --> http://www.steelsoldiers.com/deuce/64899-complete-deuce-winch-mounting-bolt-list.html

Mongo,
How soon after changing oil did the pressure run at 15 and 25?
Clutch slippage is one of three things:
1) mis-adjusted clutch
2) "lubricant" on the clutch disks
3) entirely too much power.... as in "the multi shouldn't be able to make this much power" too much power....
How much free...
I think the same problem discussed here < http://www.steelsoldiers.com/website-help/70535-google-redirects-vbulletin-hack.html > is still going on.
I think the final answer was that the site needs to fix it... the work around is to copy the URL from google and paste it into your browser...
Randy,
Those trailers are SUPER DUPER handy! The crank leg makes it even more handy! I find more uses for it than I ever imagined.... The wife and I have used it as a camper more than once!
Congrats, and just remember, trailers ARE a "gateway" vehicle. I won my first deuce just a couple...
Mongo,
If I had a less than 1K fresh engine nearby, I would seriously consider buying it, if even just to sit on!
Oh, and don't worry, no one here thinks your stupid or crazy... Mainly because we are all CRAZY!!!
Welcome to the club!

It is stamped on the sender. You will likely have to pull it and sand a few years worth of grime and paint.
Just for completeness sake, if you had a 60 psi sender and a 120 psi gauge, the gauge would read high. The sender would send 50% of 60 psi (30 psi) and the reader would show 50% of 120...
Floridianson,
I changed that on mine after I swapped the Head O-rings and it was still making oil. I just ran down to the local hardware store and picked up the size that came closest to the (now flat) one that I pulled out.
Do you happen to have the dimensions? I would like to order a Viton...
Scoutmanadam,
Good idea, but that was one of the first things to go.
It actually started leaking fuel externally so I ditched it shortly after I picked the truck up from GL.
Thanks for the thoughts!
Dave
Digging this one up again... I'm sure it won't take a psychic to figure out why... a few months after bypassing the FDC the engine oil level started raising again :(
So I did some research and found that the two O-rings under the HH could be culprits. I found a post where Gimpy (thanks by...

mike929,
The answer is, it depends!
The front axles have a seal from the axle housing to the axle shaft, behind the knuckle. This keeps gear oil out out of the knuckle, king pins, boots, etc.
The rear axles do not have a seal from the axle housing to the axle shaft because there are no...
