Since this job seems so easy and improves performance so much, could I ask exactly what a locker is and what does it do? Not to hijack the thread, but just a little info. Thanks.
I picked up 2 1000 CCA Maxx batteries from the local walmart when I picked my deuce up. Plenty of power, even in the winter, and started the truck even after it sat around for a month or so.
check out this link for the definition of a farm truck in texas. I think you qualify.

I've broken a few taps in my days as an outside machinist in the local shipyard (just a few, I was usually very careful) and have used various methods already described. Taps are very strong (read that brittle) and if it was dayshift we got a disintegrator (picture a carbon arc cutter on a mag...
Normal air pressure is approximately 105 psig. Look in the TM to see how to adust it. Basically, it's loosen locknut, turn screw clockwise to increase pressure, CCW to decrease.
If the nozzle breaks (like if you think it's metal but it's actually plastic) Clark Truck Parts has take-off nozzles for about $40. It took me about an hour to change one out because of the interferences I had to remove/replace.
Sanded what I could reach. The back of the cab hadn't beed camo'd like the rest of the truck so it wasn't that bad. Don't get the idea this is a perfect paint job. There are a couple of runs I may work on, I didn't get the entire undercarriage, and the mirror holders will get touched up with...
Last chance for any tips. Taking the truck to a friends property to paint it. I plan on pressure washing the entire truck to remove any loose paint left on the undercarriage. I've sanded/primed most of the outer surfaces. I'm going to use the Gillespie black phosphate primer and 24087 (2 to...
my choice exactly. Try Grainger's or McMaster-Carr for left handed drill bits. Greenlee makes a square bolt/stud extractor that is much better than the round, spiral-cut ones.
Check this thread out.

45 minutes and some hand tools and I had my broken dogbone replaced.

I'm going to jump in and say it's a wrench (obviously) for tightening/loosening the locking nuts on switches on the dash, such as the start button, or something similar. Try it out and tells us if it works.
I'm not buying a space, as 18 x 18 isn't big enough for the deuce. I'll just park out in the regular parking lot, hang out in the SS area in between shopping trips, and hopefully camp out in the back of the truck in the parking lot. They do allow that, don't they?
Thanks for the update. There was a thread or two late last year that reported ITS had stopped doing MV titles. Glad to hear they are still available. That being said, I'm glad I got a FL title with my truck from VA. No issues, other than dealing with the antique vehicle paperwork.
How compression fittings work.
Compression fitting - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
For initial tightening, place the compression nut on the pipe, then the ferrule. Bottom the pipe out in the fitting it goes to then rotate the compression nut 1 to 1 1/4 turns. After this initial time...
